What to bring
A little preparation helps your clinician understand your history quickly, whichever wing you visit.
- Previous reports and prescriptions
- A list of the medicines and supplements you take now
- Antenatal records, if you are pregnant
- Your child’s vaccination card, for a paediatric visit
- Your current Unani prescription, if you have one
- A short list of the questions you want to ask
General hospital or Unani care
The general hospital covers general medicine, general surgery, women’s health and maternity, child health, and diagnostics and pharmacy. Unani care includes seven Unani OPDs, regimental therapy such as Hijama, Unani care for women and children, skin care, and the Unani pharmacy and herbal garden.
If you are not sure where to start, tell reception what is troubling you and they can suggest an OPD to begin with. If you take medicines from both traditions, tell each clinician, so they can check how they fit together.
Fees and urgent needs
The outpatient fee is ₹10 and the inpatient bed charge is ₹100 a day. Specialist consultations, tests, procedures and medicines can carry their own charges, so please confirm current fees with reception.
